My digital camera is my phone, so the quality of the picture isn't so hot, but Cayden had a cute look on his face. School was delayed a couple hours this morning due to fog, so we had some extra time to enjoy each other's company.
We are heading to Janesville tomorrow to the Circuit Assembly that we missed a month ago due to being sick. We almost would've missed this one since Cayden is just getting over a combo of bronchitis (again) and strep throat. But he's doing better, so off we go tomorrow. Hopefully we don't get any frozen precipitation tonight to hinder our travels tomorrow.

Tis the season...

TO BE SICK!
Ugh, this week has been especially trying with the boys not feeling well. Starting out with a possible case of pink-eye with Cayden, we've moved to a chest/barking cough thing combined with runny noses. Then, last night Cayden started puking. Poor guy! He's such a trooper. Apparently he coughed so hard that he ended up puking all over his bed. I can't believe that I didn't wake up with all of that. He actually came into my room to wake me and inform me that he threw up in his bed. (Sorry, Star for all of this talk of vomit and such. You can stop reading if you need too.) After cleaning up his bed, he fell back to sleep, but was up 25 mins later running to the bathroom. Poor little guy had nothing left in his stomach and we all know how pleasant that feels. He never cried or complained. He just got through each episode and went back to sleep. So he is home today. Kieran is too, since he woke up hacking last night with a fever. My night was spent being nurse back and forth between bedrooms. At least it wasn't tag-team puking, we've been through that before and if I never have to deal with that again, it will be too soon.
Ok, so now everyone is up to date on the health of my family. Lovely story, isn't it? Hope that Daddy doesn't get waylaid with this stomach thing. I need him to get me through this week.
Hope that my next post finds us all feeling much better.....

Not too much going on here...

I figured that I better post a new blog since it had been a while since my last one. Trouble is, I don't have any earth shattering news to share with the world. HMMM....Weather is mild, 40* and very foggy today. Damp and chilly but much better than the -20* windchills of late last week. That was a shot of winter if ever there was one.

Jerod is still laid-off. I told him that if this goes on any longer, he'll be eating bon-bons and sitting on the couch all day. He joked back that by then, we wouldn't be able to afford bon-bons. HA! What a sense of humor! Glad he still has one. Seriously, he did call one of his co-workers and found out that his situation is company-wide. All of the trimmers are out framing and have been for the last 6 weeks or so. Shaw knows that to have Jerod frame is just asking for another worker's comp claim, so I'm sure that is why they haven't called him. There are 2-3 houses on the horizon that should be up and ready in a couple weeks. We'll see. I am thankful for the side work he has picked up. That is getting us through. Plus, my first life insurance commission helped out greatly.

So glad that there is only 13 days til Xmas. Don't you get sick of not being able to watch TV or listen to the radio w/o being overwhelmed with Xmas commercials/songs? UGH!

The end of this month I am hostessing a Stampin Up party. I'm looking forward to that. It is fun to get together, visit, eat, and create. Although, I ran out of invites, so I'm going to have to do some manual phone calls to get to every one on my list.

Congrats to Amanda and Luke Wolf! They got married last Monday in a very small ceremony. Amanda is Jessica's younger sister. I understand that they will be living in Dubuque. I got to wait on them Saturday nite at Arthur's. They came in with Ben and Monica. What a treat that was! Amanda was glowing, apparently married life is going well....

Speaking of weddings, Melyssa and Eric have decided to go with a larger reception than originally planned. I guess it is going to be in Boscobel in the banquet room of the Super 8, or some motel there. I hope the plans keep going smoothly. Clint and Joyce are going to have a big empty house sooner than later. What a strange feeling that is going to be for them.

Wow, I'm racking my brain and really can't find anything else to write about. How boring is my life? Although I could wax poetically on about the huge bag of Tootsie Rolls in my desk drawer that is calling out to me, but I won't.

A painting we will go!

The boys get so excited when Jerod and I talk of painting the walls in the house, so this last time Jerod was able to have them "help". So I had 2 snowmen on my wall inside the side entry door for a while. The boys had a blast! Thanks Dad!

We have lost a tooth!

Nov 29 was the big day! Cayden was at school and wiggled it out during circle time. He was so proud of himself, especially since it didn't hurt like he thought it would.
Funny thing-he insisted on putting the bag with the tooth under his pillow to check to see if there would be a tooth fairy to come and take it. Of course I had had the conversation with him to explain the whole "fairy" thing, but he needed to do an experiment to prove it to himself. Sure enuf, the next morning the tooth was still there and he seemed content with the result of his "test".

Like father, like son...

My Little Hunter Dude!

Kieran went out with Daddy Sunday afternoon for his first deer hunting experience. Mostly it was about Kieran rattling antlers and working the doe bleat and learning to sit quietly, but Dad said he did awesome. He is so cute in his get-up, isnt' he? It'll be several years before he can carry a gun, thank goodness. I'm sure that day will come way too soon....

A BOO!

Peek!

My fearless indian brave - Little Moon!

Kieran made his whole indian get-up at daycare. Isn't it cool? His indian name at school is Little Moon and his vest has a moon drawn on it. They do such neat projects there. I'm going to miss his teacher when she has her baby in January. Yep, Kieran's teacher is PG, too, just like Cayden's teacher. But, I don't think Kieran's teacher will be back. Bummer.

1 little, 2 little, 3 little indians...

Another great group shot of the kids! Ava looks so small next to the boys, but that never stops her! The boys were climbing up a step-stool with 2 steps and jumping down onto a single step stool and then leaping to the floor, and Ava was doing the same exact thing. It was very nerve-wracking, believe me, but no one got hurt.

Isn't she a CUTIE?

I was at Jess and Shane's yesterday and got a couple cute shots of little Ava eating a chocolate chip muffin. This picture doesn't do justice to the chocolate all over her face and smeared on her jammies. What a crack-up!

Won't the sun EVER shine?

I think I can count on one hand the number of sunny days we've had in the last month. Yuck. Today Jerod left for Oconomowoc to work the rest of the week. Won't be back til Friday aft. I'm already missing him something awful. I'm such a wuss. PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER, GIRL!
Kieran got to spend the day with Nana since he woke up through the night howling, crying and complaining that his ear hurt. It was so heartbreaking! As a parent you feel so helpless, trying to rack your brain for something you can do to just take away the pain. I gave him kid's ibuprofen, some garlic drops in his ear, and a lukewarm washcloth to press against his ear. I held him and rocked him until he calmed down. After he calmed down, it was probably only 3-4 minutes b/4 he fell back to sleep. Poor baby! He slept fine the rest of the night and was still sleeping when I left for work. He's been great for Nana all day, which I knew he would.
I'm listening to "High School Never Ends" by Bowling for Soup. The lyrics are funny and so true. Interesting take on today's obsession with Hollywood and the stars found there. It's one of those songs that make you smile and nod your head, like "that is so true". Like that "Sunscreen Song" from the late 90's by Baz Luhrmann. You got to hear it, so here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZgUTApyGU4 Enjoy! Thanks to the friend who send this song to me! It was an awesome blast from the past!

Cayden's Kindergarten teacher

Cayden's teacher, Mrs. James, is so awesome! She also is 8 months PG, due around Xmas. But she has been so great with the holiday issue and willing to work with us. I really appreciate that as a newcomer to this whole parent/teacher world. This was from the school's open house night that we attended. Kieran looked pretty spiffy since we were headed to the Thursday night meeting right afterwards.

Bubbles and lots of bubbles!

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to flip this. Don't get a krink in your neck!

They are always cute sleeping or in the tub!

What a cutie! He looks so angelic here, so I know he is capable of being good. (I just wish it happened more often)

It must be genetic!

Look closely at his eyes-if that isn't a Jerod Silvers look, I don't know what is!

New Tile & Circuit Assembly update!

Sorry it's been a few days since my last update. Our modem at home is not working and Verizon tech support is clueless as to what the problem may be. So here I am using my work computer to update the world on what has happened in the Silvers' world lately.
First off, I have a new tile entryway! Many thanks to Micah Rochon and little bro Shane for their help! Not sure how the pics will show up, but it is really beautiful! Jerod still is technically unemployed, so the sheetrock work should be done this week, I hope. Although I'd much rather him be at work at a real paying job. Not sure how much longer we can lean on state unemployment and the good graces of friends finding odd jobs for him to do.
The last couple of weeks we have been dealing with bronchitis with both boys. Cayden had gotten to the point where he was up several times through the nite with his coughing fits. Dr. informed us that he had a rather severe case of bronchitis and put him on Azithromicin. After about 3 days he was doing phenominally better. Just in time for Kieran to start up with the same horrible cough. By now mommy was sleeping downstairs so I could get some sleep. Last Friday I took Kieran in and got him on the same antibiotic. Friday nite was pretty rough, so we ended up missing the 1st day of our Circuit Assembly. I was totally bummed. Seems as though the last few things I had planned and was really looking forward to had all been cancelled or fell through. (i.e. Riley's visit, local high school musical, assembly) Oh well. We at least made Sunday morning and through lunch until Kieran got himself in a bad coughing fit and puked all over himself and Jerod. That cut our assembly short and we left immediately. Needless to say, Jerod didn't smell too good on our ride home! HA! Of course after we got home, Kieran was ramroding around with his big brother and doing fine. Well, Riley's assembly is Dec 23, 24 so we will probably go then.
But for the short time we were there, I sure enjoyed seeing and visiting the friends. It warmed my heart to see Larissa and her hubby Joe and daughter Jade. I talked to her mom, Colleen who is pioneering and she told me the Larissa and Joe are being used in demos at the KH and really doing well spiritually. That's so awesome. Kim Haesler was also there and seeing her made me cry. She has moved back to Madison and is making spiritual progress-going to meetings and such. I hope to talk to her very soon!
The whole program was amazing! I especially appreciated how the circuit overseer referred to the time remaining before the end of this system in "weeks" not "years". He did this twice in his talk. Really made me stop and think of the seriousness of what is going on and what me and my family need to do to improve in our spiritual routine. He is privy to more info than we are, and so his comments can't be ignored. What if we really do only have "weeks" left? Wow. Puts things in a different perspective, huh?
In a different note, Cayden's first "big boy" tooth has popped through, although his wiggly tooth hasn't come out yet. It's kinda wierd-the tooth is coming in behind the baby teeth. Now my thoughts are kinda paranoid about this, since my dental history includes some not-so-nice incidents at a very young age. (my first tooth pulling happened when I was 6 and pretty much goes downhill from there) I really hoped my kids wouldn't have my crowded mouth issues, but instead would have their father's big mouth (sorry honey) and my healthy teeth. I guess I shouldn't freak out yet.
Oh, and one last thing. We got snow again Friday night. Enough to let Cayden and hubby build a snowman. Ick.

Here's Papa and the boys! As usual, Papa was in rare facial expression form. I get a kick out of the looks on Papa's face in most of the pictures he's in. But any picture I get with him the the boys I think is precious.

Technology is great...when it works (SIGH)

Ok, I've been trying to post pictures here for the last 3 days and I can't! I'm a little more than upset and frustrated cuz I have some really cute ones to share. So I am going to continue to perservere and hope for the best.

A play date with Friends!

After a yucky, rainy day off yesterday, the boys and I headed to Richland Center today to visit some friends. I didn't get going as quickly as I wanted to since I woke up with a sledghammer pounding in my head. It was awful. I made coffee and downed Excedrin Tension Headache and it took the edge off, so off we went. I posted some pix I took of the boys playing. They have an air hockey table, ping-pong table, swing and video games stocked in their basement. They also have a bounce house that blows up in about 30 seconds. The boys didn't jump too long in it. I think the fact that both of my kids have a nasty cough hindered their enthusiasm. After jumping in it for 5-10 minutes, Cayden and Kieran proceeded to cough for the next 20 minutes. Nice.
Thanks to my friend for putting up with me-I wasn't the best of company. I felt really out of it with my head issues. It seems that I couldn't come up with anything to talk about and was only good for answering questions.
Anyhow, I got a couple cute ones of the baby girl. She is such a ham. When you say, "Smile _!", she scrunches her eyes tight and grits her teeth in a sorta smile. It's too funny! She looks more like she's trying to push out a big load! ROTFL!

After we played there for a few hours, then we went to visit Papa and Nana. That is where I got the cute ones of the boys in the hat and the precious one of them on Papa's lap. It's been a long while since I had a picture of them with Dad, so I had to share it with everyone. OK-this blogger is not letting me upload those pictures so I will add them in a separate entry above.

The sun was out today and the air was pretty mild for a change and tomorrow sounds like we may even hit 60* whoo-hoo! What a joke, being excited about 60* weather in October. As I've said, it'll be a long winter.

Cayden's tooth is getting wigglier and wigglier.. We are all very excited about losing that 1st tooth. So expect pictures!

The proof is in the pudding (a.k.a. snow)

Yep-a snowman in mid-October. Makes me want to lay right down and cry...(SIGH)

As if we didn't know summer was gone..

OK, flurries in October I can handle, but accumulating snow that doesn't melt away for a couple of days? That is a little too much. If this is a sign of things to come, it'll be a LLONNNGGG heating season. Last year was bad enuf, so I'm wondering what I can sell in order to help pay my Alliant bill this year. My head hurts to think of it-so change of subject!

Aunt Jess and Uncle Shane thoughtfully invited the boys to accompany them to Jess's parents' house Sunday afternoon for a family get-together. So we had a quiet house! How sad is it that when I know that I have some time to myself that I wonder what grown-up movie I can watch? I could take advantage of the time and go through the toys and "weed" out what isn't needed or ones that are missing pieces or broken. Or I could organize my bathroom closet that seems to collect the things I don't have a place for. Nope- I watched a "Smallville" episode and threw laundry in the washer. BORING! Later, Jerod and I went out to Todd and Misty's house. Jerod set a couple of doors in their basement and I enjoyed visiting with the girls. After dinner, Brit and Val played 3 violin duets for us. Lovely! They are really good! I was impressed.

Wes and Deliverance Riley and kids are coming this weekend for a visit. I'm looking forward to spending time with them. Well, technically, Wes and Jerod will be hunting every day, but Deliverance and I will have plenty of catch-up time to visit. I hope the kids do well. Perhaps Saturday we will drive down to Dubuque to the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium just for something to do. It's not much compared to the Milwaukee Zoo, but it's a lot closer!

Last Sunday I spent the afternoon at Carrie Palacios' house and scrapped for about 4 hours in her basement. It was so nice. John took care of the kids so we were totally uninterrupted. In the end, I think we talked more than scrapped, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and hope to do it again soon.

Last Friday Cayden's Kindergarten class had their first field trip to a local pumpkin patch/market. He was so stoked about riding on a school bus, bless his heart! The weather was bitterly cold, so they didn't stay as long as planned, but long enough to go through the corn maze and to pick out a pumpkin to bring home. Cayden is insisting on me making a pumpkin pie from his 2 pumpkins. So here's the deal, I have never made anything from a real pumpkin b/4. It should be interesting. If nothing else, we can roast the seeds and eat them, right? I'll have to surf the web to find myself an easy pie recipe that calls for real pumpkin instead of the canned stuff.

Kieran has been really intent on learning letters of the alphabet and can recognize over half of the alphabet. The trick is to catch him in a "learning mode" otherwise he will have nothing to do with "book learning" It's amazing that he is trying to write his name already and can make K, I, R, N. So I've been trying to work with him on the "E" and "A". I'm pretty proud of him.

OK, that's all for now. Next post, I'll try to get some pix on.

Indian Summer is GONE!

Well the word "snow" is officially in the forecast. YUCK! A freeze warning is in effect for tonight/tomorrow morning. Chad and Cindy left in the nick of time.

Last weekend we headed up to Richland Center for Centerfest. We stopped at Peck's Farm Market and let the boys play for a couple hours. My brother Shane, his wife Jessica and little Ava joined us there. The kids are so cute to watch playing together. Ava is half the size of Kieran, but she keeps right up with him. She even tackles the boys and rough-houses with them. She is a princess with a bent tiara and a rip in her ball gown! HA! After that we were off to Oakwood Fruit Farm for their awesome caramel apples. There I ran into an old friend from high school-Jackie Clary. I don't know her married name, but it was so good to see her again. Man, she hasn't changed a bit, at all! Then we headed to town and visited my grandma Burnham. She was so happy to see us. I hadn't seen her new apartment-it was alot smaller than I thought it would be. But she has 24/7 care if she needs it and other residents to visit with and lots of activities to take part in. In fact, that evening she was riding the bus downtown to watch the CenterFest nighttime parade. If she were in her own house, she wouldn't have been able to do that since she really isn't capable of driving anymore. It's sad to say, but she is pretty crippled up and wouldn't be able to see over the dash very easily anymore. I know it kills her, driving is a way of expressing independence, and to give that up would be hard to do. But it is for her own safety.

After a very interesting dinner at the Fish House, we headed downtown to find a place to sit for the parade. Jessica and I left together with the kids and Shane, Jerod and Jessica's sister and boyfriend were to follow. However, the keys got locked in Shane's SUV somehow and it took a while for the locksmith to get there. So Amanda and Luke hitched a ride with Mick and Danielle and found us. Our seats weren't very great, since I thought the parade started at 7:30 and it really started at 7:00. So half the county was already camped out in the choice spots by the time we got there. There was a 5 ft opening to the street directly in front of us, which was just enuf for the kids to squeeze into and score candy and watch the parade. I have to admit that this parade was pretty disappointing compared to last years'. Oh well, the kids had a blast and that is all that matters.

My mom and dad left for Door County last night for a short get-away. I hope that they are able to enjoy their time away from here. But when I say short, I mean really short, they will be back by Thursday night. So only 2 nights away. I guess that is all that they needed. I got to thinking-next March will be their 25th anniversary. We should do something for them. But what? Shane and I will have to brainstorm on that one. A party? An expense paid trip? We'll see.

I got some of my pictures back from our little going away party for the Genschaws. I've put the Grandkid picture here. These are all of the grandkids on my husband's side of the family except for his brother Kial's little boy-Issak who is 4 yrs old. So from the back we have Andrea, Noelle, Tricia, Myranda; Lydia, Summer (goofball!), Megan; Melyssa holding Micah, Breanna, Brittany; Tiffany holding Kieran, Derek, and Valerie holding Cayden. It's such a precious picture-probably the only time all of us will be together for a very long time.

Jerod had only one day of work this week. Thank goodness he has a side job to fill in for most of the rest of the week. Construction is slow right now, I guess. Lovely.

Well, that updates our life right now. Will post again later.

Yeah for Indian Summer!

Oct 2, 2006
So it's going to be 84" today. Holy moley! Yesterday (Sunday) was just awesome as well. Kinda bummer that I had to work at Arthurs'. Boy were we busy, my feet were on fire by the end of the night. I didn't get home until 11 pm and we closed at 9. The dining room was a wreck, the salad bar was depleted-we really needed to have a bus person to help. Oh well, I made over $100 in tips, so I shouldn't complain too badly. Finally I'm able to catch up on my day care bills.
My hubby had to work all weekend. Profitable, but since the boys were in bed by the time he got home, they didn't see him from Thursday night to Sunday afternoon, 15 min b/4 I had to leave for work. Kieran didn't seem to notice too much, but Cayden was missing Dad pretty badly by Saturday.
Tonight we have a little family "good-bye" shin-dig at Clint and Joyce's for Chad and Cindy. I hope that we have a nice time together. Cayden is pretty adament about not wanting them to leave. This morning he said, "When they move, can we call them or go and visit them?" I told him that we could call them every so often, but visiting would be a completely different story. I can't imagine the boys on a long airplane ride. The takeoff and landing would be exciting for them, but the interim would be impossibly "BORING" (as Cayden is so fond of saying lately.) Hopefully, we can arrange for the kids to come back to visit a few times. We'll see.

Thursday, Sept 28

What a beautiful autumn day it is outside! Very cool, breezy, crisp and sunny! This morning as I walked Kieran into daycare, the air definitely had that leafy fall smell. One morning last week smelled like that as well. I did hear on the weather channel that due to our insanely hot summer, the fall foliage wouldn't be so spectacular this year. Time will tell, I guess.
My mom drove over today to meet me for lunch at Pizza Hut. That was really nice. Today is an specially hard one on her and dad. Josh is going to be DF'd tonight. Another one bites the dust. I really don't know what to write about that, so I don't think I'll write anything. I thought that it'd be a nice distraction for her to come over for a while. She did thank me, so I'm glad I made the call this morning to invite her.
Tomorrow is my day off, so Kieran and I are going to be home most of the day I think to get some laundry done. I'd really like to spend time with him working on his letters. He is really starting to take an interest in his ABC's. Already he can make the letters K,I,M,O,P,H,T. Not bad for a 3 1/2 year old, huh? He'll sit with marker and paper, make his letters and then ask me what word spells. It's hard to explain that his letters don't actually spell a word, so I just sound out the letters and that seems to suffice. HA! I think with a consistent effort, he should be able to write his name by the time he turns 4 in January.
Daddy is working all week-end on a side job, so it'll be just me and the boys. Nana is coming over Sunday for the meeting to help out, and Papa is coming over later that afternoon to watch the boys until Jerod would get home, since I get to waitress at Arthurs on Sunday night. Yeah! Tip money!
That's my update for today...

Our August Zoo Trip!

August 31st, 2006.
The last week before school started, we took a van load to the Milwaukee Zoo. My nephew, Derek, my nieces, Megan, Lydia, and Melyssa, and my mom went along. We had a great time despite the stormy weather and getting rained on. But honestly, that just added to the trip. The big highlight, at least for my boys, was going through the Dinosaur Exhibit. There were life-sized robotronic dinos along the path, complete with sound effects. Kieran was pretty freaked out by the end of the hike. Another cool exhibit was the reptile/fish house. They had catfish bigger than the kids. I can't imagine swimming in a river and having something that big brush by me. I get the heeby-geebies just thinking about it.
One neat thing that the girls and I noticed was how many of the small reptiles and mammals natural homes are found in Panama. I have a feeling that the Genschaws will have all sorts of awesome stories of looking out their windows and seeing animals we only get to see in zoos.
They are leaving a week from tomorrow. I'm hoping to get to see them off from the airport. Having them a half a world away is really going to be hard. Those kids are like my own. My boys adore them, and I know it is going to be difficult to explain just how far "Panama" is from Dodgeville, when the concept of a 2 hour car ride is beyond comprehension for them at this age.
I am really hoping that they will have access to email since that will be the only way to keep in touch. This blog will also help them to keep up with stuff going on up here in the frigid north, too.
Well, today (Sept 27, 2006) is Wacky Wednesday-school gets out at 2pm and Cayden gets to be the classroom helper today. Boy was he stoked about that! Jerod got into it as well and went to Kwik Trip before he left for work and bought him 2 glazers donuts to eat on his special day. Not to be left out, Kieran scored a huge M&M cookie from Daddy. That was so sweet for him to do. Even though he can't be here in the morning, he knew how excited Cayden was gong to be today. I love this man no matter what, but every so often he does something to pleasantly surprise me.

Friday Sept 8, 2006

Well, hubby and I went to the back "specialist" in Milwaukee yesterday. What a collossal waste of time that was. I was hoping for an opinion or recommendation at least. All it was was a stuck up doctor firing off questions to Jerod and then sneaking a question about our trip to Wisconsin Dells back in February. I know that they are trying to pin his injury on that trip. How depressing and exasperating. i hope that when Jerod talks to the Worker's Comp guy, he lets him have it. If not, I'm sure I could put in my 2 cents worth. What a joke. We have to pay for the treatment that all the cheaters of worker's comp deserve. It just hurts so much to see my husband in pain 24/7 and taking Vicatin as if they were candy. Boy do we need the new system, more than ever..

this is an audio post - click to play

Mi Familia:

Hubby - Jerod

Me - Shannon

Son - Kieran 3 1/2 yrs

Son - Cayden 5 1/2 yrs

This is me and my hubby on our 10th anniversary get-a-way to Door County last May. It was a tad windy here. We had such a good time....(sigh)

The first day of the rest of my life

Ok, so I've started a blog. I've needed to start a journal for some time now, today seemed like as good as a day as ever. My older son, Cayden started Kindergarten today. He's been in preschool for the last 2 years, so the separation anxiety was not a factor today. He walked into the room, allowed me to take 1 picture and then promptly found one of his friends from last years' 4-K class, Zach. He did manage to wave goodbye to me at least. I then took Kieran, 3 1/2, to daycare and went to work. I did get a little teary eyed thinking of what this milestone means to our family. Wow, it does go fast. Four or five years ago when we were fighting through sleepless nights, night terrors, and horrible tantrums, I remember thinking how I wished for Cayden to be old enough to reason with. Well, now I have that. I do miss the "little boy" he was, but I am excited to see him grow and find out what he will grow into.
Different subject-as a scrapbook junkie, you'd think I would have had dozens of pix documenting our morning. NOPE! No film in the camera-BAD MOMMY! At least I had my camera phone, so this is the picture I am hoping to post here for the world to see.
No digital camera for me, so to put pix on this blog will take a bit of work, but I will prevail!
